Sydney Harbour Escapes

We organised this day trip for 28 friends and family members, some of whom were visiting from overseas. Sydney Harbour Escapes were helpful and friendly, and made the booking straightforward. Our catamaran Hestia arrived promptly and once on board the captain Patrick and first mate gave an informative safety briefing and made suggestions on some of the best spots to swim at. They also helped with the barbecuing of the food we had brought. We spent time in the water at both Camp Cove Beach and Chowder Bay. On our way back into Rose Bay, we sailed into Sydney Harbour for a fantastic view of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. We spent five hours on board which absolutely flew by. The catamaran itself was very clean and spacious, with enough space for passengers to sunbathe or take cover from the sun. All in all this was a fantastic and memorable day and I would highly recommend Sydney Harbour Escapes and Hestia!

Make attended a spectacular day on Sydney harbour on Friday 19th December 2018 which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Both Robyn and Andreas worked so hard to make our day special from organising the beautiful luncheon to the stunning spot we anchored near Taronga Zoo to swim, paddleboard and feast. Our boat Dreamtime Girl was just awesome and so relaxed.The weather was a little overcast but nonetheless it turned out to be a pretty amazing day weather wise. So thank you and we thoroughly recommend Sydney Harbour Escapes if you are looking to have a fabulous day out on the harbour.

We had a delightful time on Eve this past Sunday with Steve and his mate Ben. They were very accommodating and flexible with the itinerary. The boat is beautiful and well equipped and a thrill to sail, which I had a chance to do when I took the helm. Steve and Ben were clearly out to make this a great day for us. Best of all, they were great company. I hope we have a chance to do this again sometime.

Big thanks to Captain Tim on a fantastic day with the highlight watching the start of the race. Tim was friendly and fun, and very organised. The whole trip went smoothly, a swim in a lovely bay, lunch (cooked on the bbq by Tim), off to a great spot for the start, then a relaxed return looking at the sights of the harbour. Everyone of the friends and family on board agreed it was a great day. The boat trip itself was fantastic, the booking office left a bit to be desired in terms of advice on which of the myriad wharves to use for the pick up and responding to calls and emails.

Excellent service from this crew. We had a double celebration on this day involving a lot of organisation just to get to the boat with 30 guests including 17 teenagers aged 17-18. The crew got us in early out of the thunderstorm, managed the boat in the storm whilst getting us to the best vantage point possible from which we enjoyed a magnificent evening. They cooked, served, were polite, efficient and friendly whilst constantly keeping an eye on guest safety including newly adult teenagers drinking for the first time! The food was delicious and presented well. The boat was squeaky clean and very user friendly. 2 Bathrooms were clean and accessible. Despite less than ideal weather at times, everyone was accommodated out of the rain without feeling squashed or crowded and the party still continued. They also accommodated my 91 year old father well and he was able to negotiate the steps etc with assistance and had a ball. Overall I would highly recommend this boat and its crew.
