iZotope

RX standard is really neccesary, not just useful and is great the things you can do with It. Even the de-eser is amazingly good and natural.

I own and use a lot of fascinating and useful tools for my work. Then there are the iZotope-Plugins, which are part of almost every setup I create. So it is at least 5 stars for iZotope. Highly professional and - I admit it - it is funny to use them and play with the result.

I have used RX since the 2nd generation for restoration of vinyl and shellac recordings. The 11th generation is outstanding. I recently purchased a Velvet but unable to find a satisfactory video. The one I believe is produced by iZotope is a polished by useless overview. Regardless, that doesn’t tarnish my overall impression of the software products. Note: I do not use Velvet because I cannot get the sibilance and plosives reduced without distortion of the audio. Thanks, Guy
