I expected to enjoy the famous monuments and tombs and to learn about the ancient Egyptian culture and history. Our tour guide did a fantastic job with that. What surprised me was the overwhelming friendliness of the Egyptian people, and I appreciated opportunities to interact with them.

Francesca was perfect and made the whole tour so enjoyable! Breakfasts were not up to par in all the hotels but the views were spectacular!

We had a great time. We had one of the friendliest and capable captains on the River Aria. He made the trip very exciting. Had a wonderful room at the Hotel Regina on the post trip. It was right in the center of Vienna. Very convenient. Our trip director, Amir, made this a wonderful trip. We loved riding the electric bikes from the ship. We would have loved a pre-trip in Amsterdam. We did have a day there so were able to see the Van Gogh Museum but a few days in a pretrip would have been great. The 60 locks were really something. The captain and crew did a great job. Never had so many locks on one trip. The tallest was 60 or 70 feet. Melk Abbey was more than I anticipated. The Opera House in Vienna was grand and breathtaking. Each city had its own high points, all of which we enjoyed.

It was absolutely wonderful. Enjoyed every minute. Cruise director for my group was fantastic, and the service of the crew couldn't have been better !
