Loved the accommodations, the pace was fine for me, but some of my fellow travelers seemed a bit wiped out. There was one temple we saw while on the Nile River cruise that was truly awful. The temple Kom Ombo that was touted to able to be seen at night but it was so crowded, and not so wonderfully lighted... When I asked why we stopped there I was told it was one of then earliest sites for Thomas Cooke to bring British tourists in the early 20th century. A real non-event on a trip that was filled with extraordinary adventures.

Outstanding trip! If you have been postponing this trip due to unrest in Egypt the past few years, you do not need to wait any longer. We felt totally safe at all times. The Egyptians were very pleased to see Americans touring their country. They have security everywhere! You will be amazed at the history of this country and what has been preserved over the many centuries.

The crew on the boat were wonderful! Food was 5 star at all meals.Our program directors, were also fantastic. Very knowledgeable, warm, and friendly.

Handling different currencies was a little inconvenient ( in Bulgaria only) My wife and I were a tinge too old for the pace of the walking tours but we found plenty of time just loafing, eating, and relaxing and meeting good friends.

Food was excellent. Leader was excellent. Guide at airport when we left did not help.
