Liked planning, culture emphasis, program director (cristi), wonderful trip, will travel with you again. Improve: many older people, air flight exchanges to close together. To much stress . Need more time between flight exchanges. We missed flight in Frankfurt.

Exceptional tour director. Ability to explore on our own. Pretrip to NI was especially interesting. Beautiful country, music, and people. Fascinating history of the country. Lots of fun to be had. Last hotel too far from center of city.

So many views of Ireland were only made better by the commentary of our PD Lolly. Her knowledge and enthusiasm for Ireland helped us understand what we saw and put it into historical perspective. We had the freedom to control the pacing and do as much or as little as we wanted at each stop.

The off the ship excursions were of very high quality reflecting G Normandy, Monet's garden, path of Van Gough and the home hosted event all were great. We enjoyed the others as well and the opportunity to meet and share with other experienced travelers and make new friends. We were a bit fatigued by the time we reached Paris at the end of the trip. Nevertheless we think GSCL may be a natural progression for those of us who enjoyed OAt (and GC) trips while a bit younger. Off ship activities:GC's experience with such activities thru GC and OAT give you an advantage over most other cruise tour companies.

I liked our tour director who made the trip so great; the cities and sites we visited; the hotels we stayed in; the things I learned about the history, flora and fauna, political viewpoints, social programs, and every thing else; the food we ate along the way; the Beatrix Potter Site; the additional tour guides along the way; the built-in free time to explore on our own!
