GCT

What I like most about a GCCL trip is the balance of guided shore excursions ( which orient the travel group to a location) and free time to explore and seek out things that are of greatest interest to each traveler personally. The most outstanding aspect of any GCCL trip I have been on (this was #5) is the program directors. This trip was no exception. Our group PD was FABULOUS!

I enjoyed the visit to the Outback, especially the barbecue in the bush. The Great Barrier Reef, Sydney and its' Harbor are both "must sees"! The Sydney Aquarium tour was disappointing and easily could be replaced by something else. The Sydney Opera House tour and the concert which we attended were definitely highlights! New Zealand was excellent, the countryside and lakes are beautiful. While I appreciated learning about the Maori culture, a little less emphasis on this would be good in my opinion. I would add a visit to Christchurch to see the "most English town in New Zealand". The pace was fairly strenuous and many people on our tour became ill. The Maori dinner and program was very inspiring. The dinner with the New Zealand family was great.

This was a wonderful trip! Very educational. Beautiful time of the year (October 5-19).

Our program director, Dom,made the trip for us. Also the entire staff of the ship were outstanding and fun to be with. A very memorable trip.

Best trip ever. I had no problems which is very unusal.
