Authentic Israel

This was a great trip, which exceeded my expectations. It was very well organised and the leader (Gadi) was very informative (and patient with all our questions). There was a good balance between the volunteer work and the sightseeing activities. So much will stay in my memory but I think the Nova site visit resonated with me the most. I have no hesitation in recommending Authentic Israel and would definitely travel with them again.

Irad, our guide, was great, knowledgeable and sensitive to the needs of our group. The days were full, the volunteer tasks were a good way to feel helpful, food was abundant. Having a full tour in the Old City, celebrating shabbat at the Western Wall were once in a lifetime experiences. Most importantly was the mood in Israel, the resilience was powerful and contagious. I loved our group that blended together so beautifully. Alon was a wonderful guide who was very attentive to making sure everyone had a special experience while volunteering and coming back to visit Israel. An A+ experience.

It was wonderful! Alon was great and we had lots of work experience too. I would have liked longer volunteer hours, though.
