Authentic Israel

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of going on the My Turn tour of Israel, and I must say it was an absolutely incredible experience. From start to finish, everything was meticulously planned and executed, making it one of the best trips we have ever taken. The guides on the tour were truly exceptional. Their knowledge of the history and culture of Israel was excellent, and they brought the sites we visited to life with their passionate storytelling. They made sure we learned a lot throughout the trip, providing us with valuable insights and engaging anecdotes. One of the highlights of the tour was the opportunity to meet and connect with fellow travelers from all over the country. It was fascinating to hear their perspectives and experiences, and it added a special sense of camaraderie to the journey. We were truly lucky to have such fantastic group. The hotels we stayed at were first class. They were not only comfortable and luxurious but also conveniently located, allowing us to make the most of our time in each city. The accommodations provided a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. The food on the tour was outstanding. We were treated to a wide variety of delicious meals, showcasing the diverse culinary traditions of Israel. I particularly enjoyed the meals that were included in the itinerary. It was a pleasant surprise to have so many meals included, and it added great value to the tour. Speaking of the itinerary, it was truly extensive and thoughtfully crafted. We started in Jerusalem, the birthplace of it all, and then followed the path of the Exile to Masada and Galilee. The tour concluded in Tel Aviv, celebrating the establishment of modern Israel. The itinerary allowed us to immerse ourselves in the rich history and culture of the region, visiting iconic landmarks and experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of each city. Overall, I cannot recommend the My Turn tour of Israel enough. It was a truly unforgettable experience. The guides, the travel mates, the hotels, the food, and the itinerary all exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a trip that combines learning, adventure, and a great time, this is the tour for you.

Authentic Israel organized a great 10 day trip to Israel. Both the tour leader Toby and the guide Gadi were fantastic. They anticipated our needs and answered all our questions and made sure everyone had a wonderful experience. When minor problems arose they handled them professionally. We thank Authentic Israel for giving us a once in a lifetime experience at an affordable price.

The March of the Living trip was a trip of a lifetime for me. While it was emotionally challenging and exhausting, our leaders Gadi and Karen as well as our all around group leader Toby were fantastic! Gadi as a wealth of knowledge with the letters and poems he read capturing the essence of the most horrific period in our Jewish history. Each of the areas we visited in Poland left an indelible memory in my heart. Our bus driver and our “pilots” were great and kept us feeling very safe. I actually fell on our last day in Warsaw. Toby accompanied my friend Janet and me to see a dr. and then called our bus “pilot” Robert to take us to the emergency room of a hospital where I got stitches in my arm. Toby was super in making me feel more comfortable and Robert was invaluable in directing the cabdriver to the hospital as well as translating at the ER. The Israel portion of our trip was amazing from our Caesarea gathering on the beach facing the Sea to attending a ceremony the start of Yom HaZikaron to walking along the Main Street of Zichron Yaakov to going to Yemen Orde Youth Village to visiting Atlit Detention Camp to observing a minute of silence commemorating Yom HaZikaron to going by the Kassel Fortress and Ammunition Hill, we honored those before us. Going to Mehane Yehuda Market; marching in the Independence Day parade along with volunteering at the Jaffa Institute; shopping on our own in Jaffa, added extra fun along with a group dinners at Aresto Restaurant in Caesarea, Focaccia Bar in Jerusalem and Balinjera in Tel Aviv. Finally, walking along Indepence Trail in Tel Aviv and touring the Peres Center for Innovation in Jaffa added great pride for me in Israel. Gadi and Toby were excellent leaders in Israel as well as Poland. They clearly love what they do and their enthusiasm definitely made us happy and thankful we chose Authentic Israel for the March of the Living and Israel Revisited.

Having been to Israel several times we chose Authentic Israel because of the returners itinerary. There were no disappointments and we were lucky enough to have Gadi as our guide in both Poland and Israel. Toby is a gem to spend time with. Reliving each day by looking at treasured photos!!
