Authentic Israel

Can't think of a better way to show support for the people of Israel. Truthfully, I received way more in return than what I gave; very meaningful and life changing experience and looking forward to going again next year. If you're considering doing this, just do it!

It’s hard to know where to begin! I wanted a tour group for my Israel volunteer week so that I didn’t have to the planning and could just show up. But what I came out of the week with was so much more! This was a truly amazing experience where I had the opportunity to do all kinds of volunteer work, meet amazing people, hear interesting speakers, eat great food, and still have some pure Israeli fun like the shuk in Jerusalem on a Friday afternoon before Shabbat. Our tour guides were so great. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Authentic Israel was a meaningful trip. The trip leaders delved into what happened in the south on October 7th . The trip logistics ran smoothly. I extended my stay before and after the trip to lengthen the time I was there- and to stand in solidarity with the people of Israel. All of the volunteer experiences were meaningful, and I appreciated the variety of experiences that Toby Ayash arranged for us. Out tour guide Shimmy was respectful and insightful. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone looking to volunteer in Israel's time of need. Am Yisrael Chai!

It was my first trip to Israel or anywhere. I was very nervous about going but Authentic Israel took great care of me as a solo inexperienced traveler. I was there during the Iran bombing in April and my guide took great care of my small group of four. I am going to book again next year!!!

I had an amazing volunteering experience in Israel in May, 2024 on Authentic Israel’s volunteer trip.
