Authentic Israel

It was extremely gratifying to be able to help Israel in this time of need. I felt I was doing something meaningful and it reinforced my bond with the Jewish people.

The trip leader and tour guide were wonderful - knowledgeable and personable. We were there in May 2024, 7 months after the Oct. 7 attacks, but I felt safe (our tour guide was with a army reserves, so that helped). We helped get produce from the farms to the market when most of the immigrant labor was unavailable.

Authentic Israel provided a phenomenal trip to Israel during a very challenging time. I would highly recommend visiting with Authentic Israel. Toby is top notch and structured the program to meet a variety of needs.

I was extremely satisfied with this trip in every way and it hold memories I will never forget. It was very well organized, Toby and the tour guide were always helpful, patient and knowledgeable and they kept us working hard, which was exactly what I came for. I also enjoyed the other activities, which gave us greater insight into the situation in Israel at that point. I also very much liked the people on the trip and we are still in touch occasionally through our WhatsApp group.

I had an incredible, meaningful, and profound travel experience during my time spent volunteering in Israel. We met and fed troops in active combat, made beautiful Shabbat dinners for Holocaust survivors and soldiers, we met with first responders on October 7th, and visited sites of intense emotion. We worked and were housed along side Israelis who were gracious and beyond grateful. I am a seasoned traveler and do not generally feel the need to travel by group, but I knew that traveling in a war zone would be difficult and The Authentic Israel Team maximized my time. Their guides provided invaluable insight and knowledge. I urge everyone to help however they can and show much needed support for the only true democracy in the Middle East, our Jewish homeland.
