Authentic Israel

The trip was well organized and very informative. Dima, the tour leader was outstanding. His knowledge was extensive and his easy going manner was appreciated. Our fellow Travellers were very friendly and made the trip enjoyable.

Italy is a miraculous place to tour. Doing it with the chance to visit Jewish cultural sites; to hear about their history, enriched through stories about the people it affected, presented us with an experience beyond compare.

This was the most incredible journey of my life. I was changed by what I experienced and the people with whom I shared this experience. The tour staff was absolutely incredible. I am in awe of Alon and his knowledge. The way he weaved his family’s story into our experiences only further enhanced the experience. He and Alissa were absolutely wonderful.

This trip was a life-changer. The selection of sites to visit was well thought out and extremely meaningful. Seeing things in person is different than reading and watching movies about the Holocaust; although, now I have a plethora of books I want to read and additional movies I would like to watch! Also, our guide(s)' emotional expression, explanations and readings at various places we visited added a powerful layer to my comprehension of what was happening during the period leading up to and during WWII. Just like at the Passover seder, where we recite that "We were slaves in Egypt", I felt like we were now witnessing our forefathers (and mothers)' anguish - both those who perished as well as those who somehow managed to live to give their testimony. In addition, there was room for participants to tell stories of their own family members, which also made everything more real and added yet another dimension to the trip. I would highly recommend this trip.

The MOTL experience was truly unforgettable. The itinerary was filled with meaningful sites and exceptional tour guides. Dima and Jen S. were knowledgeable and creative, and they contributed tremendously to making the trip so impactful.
