Waterproof and less visually distracting than black . Perfect for tiny paintings.

Really solid postcards. The 300gsm card holds water well without buckling, even with a couple of washes. Paint sits nicely on the surface so colours stay bright, and you can lift or soften edges without the paper fighting you. They strike a good balance between smooth and lightly textured, so detail work is possible but you still get some character in the paint. Drying time gives you a bit of room to adjust, which helps if you like to blend. The postcard size is great for quick studies or small finished pieces you’d actually send. If you want something reliable that behaves predictably and doesn’t feel flimsy, these are a good buy.
