Beautiful paintings, easy to navigate website. Shipping took a little longer than expected since the package traveled from Australia to USA, but when I emailed asking for an ETA, I got a quick response back with updated tracking. I have enjoyed painting! I added a photo of my almost complete art.

I checked out a few different pbn (paint-by-number) sites before choosing PaintPlot. I chose it because of the painting I wanted to do (a place I went on holiday and loved) and the price was within my budget. The ordering process went smoothly and I received my order before the estimated time, which pleased me. Australia to Canada was a long hike, but I got updates as my kit moved across the world. What I did not like was the emails that I kept getting while I awaited my order. I was being pushed to order the exact same thing I had already ordered! In fact, I had to go in and check my order to make sure I had not made a mistake. I emailed back to complain and got good customer service in response. Everything went fine after that. I was asked to write this review and chose to do it even though I have only just put the first strokes of paint onto the canvas. Based on the canvas and my test swatches of the paints, I do anticipate a good outcome! I might buy from PaintPlot again, but my further research shows that there are other good companies out there with more selection. However, I bought a collection of three pbns, so I will be busy for a while!

Overall experience is good. But there is not enough paint for some big area. And don’t recommend to buy the frame kits because the quality is not good.

The canvas is very rough and the primer is not perfectly uniform, this makes it difficult to cover well in the smallest spaces. But all in all is a good quality for the price.

My daughter loves sea turtles so I ordered this painting. Installing the frame went well until one of the thumb tacks broke through its head and stabbed me in the thumb! Finished the rest of the thumb tacks using a tool to push on. I used two coats of Clear Gesso before painting but this is unnecessary. The paint is a good quality acrylic. I used flow aid to help with some large areas, otherwise the paint is fine. My paper copy of the painting was blurry so I couldn’t add a second paint layer in some areas because I couldn’t read the numbers. My other painting, the cherry blossom, has a good paper copy.
