Great picks

Honestly some of the best picks I've ever purchased. The only issue I have is they're a bit pricey compared to other boutique picks I've purchased. Overall though, definitely worth investing in.

I think it would look better with red instead of orange, just my opinion.

Gravity "Custom Logo" Picks

I have always been one of those people that are really in with the idea of customizing my gear, whether through modification, color, knob, shape or logo design to say a few. (Also a big fan of Gravity Picks!) Gravity offers a "customization" with their picks. YES! (Yes?) Yes, they do. Kind of. I've always dug Gravity picks and so, I had to get my logo on some and try them out for myself! I sent in my logo to have Gravity laser engrave it on the face of each of the 4 picks I bought. The turn around was super quick! I was super stoked when my picks arrived just days after sending them my logo. I ripped open the package, excited to see my design! And then,.. ...my jaw dropped. Not in a good way. The "customization" wasn't so custom after all. What I got was, indeed my logo, true... alas, plastered even larger above my logo was Gravity's stamp. "GRAVITY". And then, below and undersized, "my logo". Don't get me wrong, the picks are great as always! It was the so called, "customization" that was a DUD! Now, I have no problem with company branding when you want to get your name out there. But, the true publicity would have been when people saw my picks and said, "WHOA! Where did you get that done?! I want one with MY logo!" And I would say, "Gravity! Duh! They RULE!!!" Because, that is how it is supposed to happen! That's how it has happened when I had the same customization done from other boutique pick companies. And now they have new customers. And you know what the worst part is? I was so disheartened by the branding over my logo that I actually threw the picks away. Money down the drain. I would have been fine with the branding on the opposite side. But, on the same side as MY logo? That's not custom. And if there were no branding on it at all, I would have still told everybody who did it! "Yo! Get Gravity!" The bottom line is, if you are going to offer this kind of service, offer it with the security in knowing that your customer is going to tell the world all about your brand because they are proud to see THEIR own, personal design on YOUR product. Because, that is what they want. That is what YOU want. In this case, all the world will see is this crappy review. I will always buy Gravity picks. I love them. But, the "customization" is a waste if you're going to plaster your brand above your customer's design like a flag claiming dibs on a mountain peak. Have faith in your product and you don't have to brand everything in fear that you will go unrecognized. (at least brand the opposite side!) Your "happy" customers will always spread the word! I still love you, Gravity. I'm just bummed that I wasted my money on those picks. Hopefully someone scrounged through my garbage, found them and are getting use out of them. I just couldn't feel proud playing with picks that had my logo being suffocated by another logo. This isn't NASCAR. I am giving Gravity 3 stars in this review for the subject matter ONLY! "Customization". The picks themselves will always get 5 stars in my book! The so called "customization" only gets 1 star. This averages this review at 3 stars.

Expensive, slippery, and cracked down the middle.

They work and are a cool idea, but several of mine cracked internally within a week or so. Not cracked from the edge that spread into the middle of the pick, but literally popped in the middle. I play latin jazz mostly on a nylon string guitar----so I usually don't play very hard at all. These just simply don't hold up. In humid environments they become very slippery as well. I probably went a little thinner that I should have with the picks that I purchased, but regardless, I don't think I'll be buying again.
