I highly recommend the 6 week workshop with Sabrina Benaim to anyone who is looking to improve their craft or find a community of writers! Reviewing poems from a variety of authors with Sabrina taught me so much about writing and the different styles and approaches one could take. Hearing about her own writing process, tips on every topic, and the prompts offered each week have left me with so many resources I can return to even after this workshop. Sabrina is so lovely and I finished feeling inspired to write!

this class with sabrina was such a delight. she facilitates a thoughtful, caring, and open environment for her students to get to know one another and her. the poetry selections we analyzed were wonderful, her corresponding prompts were creative and inspiring, and i absolutely loved hearing poems from my classmates, too. nothing but good things to say about my first button university class and sabrina as a teacher!
