The Groomsman Suit

For $200 and an additional $50 to get it tailored I could have gotten a way nicer suit. The material was cheap, to the point where my tailor (who’s business has been open 120 years) said he’s never seen anything like it

After paying to have the suit and pants tailored, I ended up spending the same amount of money as if I would have just gotten a nice suit (better material , better fit) from a local men’s store. I attempted to get another jacket size to reduce the cost of the tailoring job (since extensive work had to be done), but the jacket I was sent was a different shade of blue. The tailor laughed at it. In the end, if your goal is to save money, you likely won’t. You’re going to end up with a poor quality suit that you may have to spend more on to make it fit correctly. If your goal is to save time and visits to a tailor shop, you likely won’t either because the pants have to be hemmed regardless of any other pieces of the suit. The company was very cooperative in sending me articles but their lack of attention to detail (wrong color) made it inconsequential. I will not use this company for my own wedding and I will discourage others from doing the same.
