I'm a retired cop and now live on a farm. I needed a decent pair of safety glasses for when I step out to my range and shoot steel targets as well as when I'm using the angle grinder to sharpen a mower blade or grind some welds. I wasn't particularly looking for transition lenses, but that's what I bought. The lenses darken and lighten very quickly and don't get too dark and stay light enough to take the edge off of the brightness of the sun. I have wiped the lenses off with a soft cloth several times and have not gotten any scratches. The frames are easy to adjust and are very comfortable. I highly recommend these glasses.
