Horrifying return policy, sent me a defective product
I was a very big fan of this company until I received my dress. In all fairness, the in-store customer service is wonderful. The salespeople are helpful and lovely and I had a very positive in-store experience. I tried on a bridesmaid dress in-store, it fit like a glove, I ordered the exact same dress in the exact same size. I received my package in a timely manner and did not try it on again until it was time to be tailored (I needed it shortened). I had lost weight since the initial in-store purchase, yet when I tried on the dress, it was extremely tight in all areas, I could barely breathe and couldn’t walk. When I contacted customer service to request an exchange, I was informed that there is a strict 5-day return policy, and after that they will not accept refunds, exchanges, or anything. So there I was, a month out from the wedding, with a too-small bridesmaid dress that cost $369. I had no choice at this point but to pay full price for another one, size up just in case, and order it online immediately. The delivery was prompt and this dress ended up working out beautifully, but this poor review is for the rigidity with which they stick to an absolutely insane return policy that is not made clear at checkout. In addition, the person I spoke to made absolutely zero effort to meet the customer halfway. Yes, I paid full price for the replacement like you knew I would because I was desperate thanks to my own laziness. But I also need 3 more bridesmaid dresses THIS YEAR, and I will be buying none of them from this company, and I will be discouraging every bridal party that I come across from using them as well.
