This is our second dogtra collar and so far I love it. Sturdy and easy to use. Our dogs are already trained to the collars so pretty simple. Bought it for the 1 mile range and because the old collars have died. Hope it holds up

I personally like the PF2 Compass. Makes it so much easier to just grab and go. Once programmed a phone is only needed if you want to see a map. Dogtra is definitely moving forward with this handheld.

I’m a longtime Dogtra customer. As an upland bird hunter, I wanted a collar with gps, correction, and a beeper. No one makes it. Many upland bird hunters want the ability to locate their dogs audibly, without having to look at their iphone or gps transmitter all the time while hunting. The GPS function is for those times when the dog gets out too far in the grouse woods or upland field. I purchased the Pathfinder2 Mini compass and a Dogtra beeper collar. I re-mounted the beeper on the gps collar and since it turns on/off with a magnet, there’s no transmitting interference. So far, the setup seems to work well! I lost a young pup for 2+hours on running pheasants in thick cover. Now, I’ll know where a dog is if that ever happens again.
