Hatching Time

The only issue is the packing of the brooder. I have heard this from several others that received broken pieces. My shipment looked as though a lot was just thrown in the box and taped shut. I plan to order other things but don’t want to order an incubator that comes with a lot of broken parts. Otherwise I am pleased with the product so far. I think the look is great and the price is good. I also appreciate the quick service to replace the broken parts . My plans are to use your complete system from incubator to breeding cages.

I purchased the 4 level quail breeding rack and an additional grow out level. the cages are very easy to put together and clean. Pros: Space saver, easy to clean, easy to put together, auto water system works great, very little feed waste, shipping time was perfect, product videos are super helpful, you can mix and match from brooders/grow out and breeding pens in a single rack, you can keep the eggs separated between each pen Cons: the birds can poop out the backs and side of the breeder racks, the small plastic tabs for the feeding tray are easy to break off so be careful, it would be nice if there was an optional opening between the compartments in the breeding rack, not all connections went together easily with the grow out level as they did with the breeding level and the instructions are far better in the breeding rack than the grow out one.

After a couple of weeks of use I can say I like the system with a few drawbacks. The water tank could use a little redesign, a slope towards the nozzle would help in using more of the water in the tank instead of leaving a good amount of water in it. Reinforcement of the water tank on the bottom would help in keeping it from bowing down in the middle and a latching top for the tank would be better. As for the cages, the pans for the manure would be better if they were bigger from front to back as the birds tend to poop towards the front and some of it gets into the lower food trays. I received two boxes the first one had damaged and broken parts which were replaced by hatch time. The second box also arrived with the box damaged but the parts were OK. Some packing material and corner braces on the box would greatly improve the chances of receiving undamaged parts.

I gave this a 3 star because I haven't ordered yet. I have emailed them and gotten a timely response but that is it. I look forward to ordering a pheasant cage in the next 30 days at which time I will revisit this review.

trouble with product quality and incorrect items in the box including missing items. I am giving a 3 star because customer service has been good thus far.
