A huge help for support care. I am just as surprised
I am always skeptical about dog brand supplements and usually stick with human brands for my dog.
Trying to find ways to support a chronic pancreatitis dog, I opted to try FLR's GutGuard along with S. boulardii.
I saw stool difference quickly from the S. boulardii. Definitely does not "cure" pancreatitis, I was still dealing with orange poop while we were trying to figure out what foods she could tolerate.
I did notice GutGuard was a good support supplement and stools became more normal colored when broken open.
She will stay on S. boulardii and while we do take 3 week break off of GutGuard using Protect (which she loves!), she has less gurgling and milder flares while on GutGuard. We may be switching back and forth.
Seeing that these products actually do something has lead me to start her on Lion's Mane and Turkey Tail mushroom supplements as well as the Colostrum (she handles this SO much better than a porcine IgA, IgG she was on).
I'll be starting her on the green lipped mussel/egg membrane supplement shortly. Just want her tract calm before trying to add anything with curcumin in it.
I do appreciate that the pricing is clear in terms of how many doses per container for the size of dog you have. No surprises. And no bazillion little scoopers. I have dedicated metal measuring spoon set just for my dog. Makes everything faster and easier.
Customer service has been helpful in answering questions about products.
I am surprised to see products that really do support gut health without miracle cure claims.
