the stainless steel top is awesome kinda freaked my cats out a little bit because it was new and they could see themselves,they got used to it over time. its going to make my life so much easier when it comes to cleaning the new pump works amazing but again it freaked out my cat as theyre used to the old pump but they got used it over time. this is my first replacement pump,the original lasted 4-5 years the senser got limescale build up after being on24/7
