This mat works really well to keep cat food “crumbs” contained for easy cleanup. Plus its non-skid material means that pet food dishes stay where placed (anywhere on the mat) for the cat’s convenience. We tend to use the large circle for food dishes, so that they can be placed far enough back that food bits land on the mat rather than the floor. The small circle is great for water dishes or fountains.
