Heavy duty , well built, high quality. Perfect for my 115 lbs 11 month old puppy.

The piece is beautiful and it is sturdy. The three issues that kept me from selecting "great" are: 1) The dog bowls are up too high for our dog, so we can't use this feature - which would have been great, 2) We can find a dog bed/pillow/mattress that fits. We've gotten ones that were too big and ones that were too small. None that are just right. I recommend the company sell cushioned inserts that fit, 3) This is the biggest issue: This was UNBELIEVABLY challenging to put together and it took a very long time. I can't imagine many people being able to do it successfully.

Great size. Bad slots inside. Toenails get stuck in the slots. .

This is a good dog crate. It does consume a lot of space and is not built for dogs with high anxiety that like to escape. I would still recommend for the average XL dog.
