This device works really well. We live on a hobby farm with a neighbour's house close by and have three med-large dogs (border collie, labrador and kelpie). The dogs live in the garden during the day and in a large lock-up run at night. There are foxes, roos, rabbits and hares about at night, plus you can hear other dogs barking on neighbouring farms, so there is plenty to egg them on. Up until recently we had been using anti-bark collars at night, with fairly good results for the past 6 years. A few months ago the dogs started ignoring their collars and barking all night again (led by the kelpie who has always been our main problem barker - he taught the others!) We bought this unit out of desperation and without high hopes, but it has turned out to be fantastic. The dogs no longer wear anti-bark collars and are quiet during the night. Occasionally we hear a quiet bark from one of them in the morning to remind us to let them out of their run, but nothing like the cacophony of all 3 barking madly in the middle of the night. 5 stars.
