Our puppy is very smart....a red cattle dog living in suburbia...we needed to control her barking and purchased this product. We did think it was also an automatic barking detector collar (it is not) but have also been using it for training. It is going so well! We like the Low and High settings (1-8 settings on both levels) as sometimes the stronger the impulse the better the response and then we ramp it down as we see she is learning. If you want it to prevent barking alone you need to be with the dog at all times - so not good if you work full-time and there is no one around to discipline. Great product and it does NOT hurt the dog at all!

After fitting the Dogtra YS600 to our 2.5yr old Beagle the nightly "Wolf style" howls stopped straight away. Ahh the serenity.
