Fish arrived with the geophagus almost completely out of water and injured. Four diamond tetras not included. One gold severum not included. But the full invoice amount was charged for the entire order and did not indicate that it was incompletely filled. After a week of trying to save the fish which was so harmed by water loss during shipping (there were no rips to bag; the leak was completely due to being poorly sealed), it ultimately DIED. Not surprising, given how badly hurt and deprived of water it was when it arrived. So while AFD ultimately did a partial refund for the missing fish, it did not cover the one which died. I also now have two diamond tetras instead of a group as they should be kept. Not happy at all. First time ordering from AFD. After this awful and very sad experience, it will also be my last.

I bought 5 fish only received 4 of them and spent multiple days trying to contact customer service to only get part of a refund for the fish I didn’t get . The fish might be different from anything I can find around my home but it’s not worth the hassle of their customer service. I would send them and email they answer one I reply to that same email to which I never get an answer. I don’t think it’s a good way to treat people. I worked in retail and still to some extent work customer service and I don’t feel as though this was a good experience and I will not be making any more purchases.

Fish came dead. I think it was shipped that way. Don’t really have time to deal with A holes.

Nothing was ever shipped?? WTF?

Ordered 20 fish a few weeks ago and only 3 still alive. Tank water conditions are perfect, no aggressive fish, and none of my old fish (had for months) have died. A complete waste of $200… sigh.. live and learn…
