I decided to try Aquarium Fish Depot. First time shopper. I was shorted 15 tetras. I ordered 6 of the marble whiptails. I was supposed to be substituted royal whiptail. I received 2 Farlowella acus. Not 6 royal whiptail. I was issued a small refund, not enough for me to trust ordering from Aquarium Fish Depot again.

Out of all those fish writhing 3 days all but one clown was gone. All other fish in the tank are fine. I've now setup a qt because of this. I've not had this problem anywhere else. The tank is tested for quality every few days, running UV, and skimmer as well.

Package arrived missing multiple fish, some also arrived dead. Got refunded for missing fish then they tried to charge me for shipping since the price was now below 350, but they never told me before shipping that they didn't have them all. Terrible experience and I still haven't been refunded for the DOA fish despite following their policies which was clearly copied from predatory fins

I spent more than $350 for free shipping, only to find they were out of multiple fish i ordered (but didn't tell me, I just discovered it when I found them missing upon opening the box) and then when I asked for a refund the owner Patrick tried to then charge me for shipping since the total was under $350, but if they would have communicated or updated their website I would have just picked other fish. I still have not been refunded for the 4 DOA fish, despite taking a full video following their DOA policy to a T (which they clearly stole from predatory fins, they even forgot to remove their email) and there's discrepancies between the DOA policy online and what they Include in the box. They only allow 30 minutes to unbox, record and email the video for money back which i did. Now everything is call they take my info and never call me back. Will never use them again.
