Hampton is an eleven-year-old Corghi that was diagnosed with a "aggressive melanoma cancer" in December, 2018. After having the tumor removed surgically, the veterinarians estimated his life expectancy to be 3-9 months depending on whether we used radiation---but there were no promises or even indications of anything greater than the 9 months. Having met the KetoPet people via phone when we lost another dog to cancer, we knew of their successful research and immediately reached out to them for an update of their progress. Much to our surprise, we learned that Visionary had commercialized a dog food that simulates the diet developed in their lab. We started Hampton on the new Visionary food in mid-January and he loves the food, but more importantly, he is still with us and amazingly more responsible and energetic than he was as a puppy. He has now eaten Visionary beef patties for 14 months and we celebrate every month as it passes with Hampton. He also eats the medallions as a treat. Thanks to visionary for commercializing and to KetoPet for their great research making Hampton a happy, energetic 11-year old!!!
