When I received a product that was defective, I took a photo of the part that wasn’t sewn & emailed to to show the problem & to ask how I should proceed so I could get a replacement. I ended up speaking to a manager, who said a new & upgraded product would be shipped to me. And he never asked for the defective one back! I had to wait a little longer, but I received the immensely improved & much higher quality upgrade.
Each time I spoke to or emailed with anyone handling my problem I was so pleased to hear a pleasant, understanding & patient voice on the other end of the line! No need for anger or an argument!
I’m not saying this would be the way every problem is treated, but the calm courtesy I believe IS how every call is treated.
