It’s hard for me to review the Halo yet because I haven’t had the time to commit to train my dog with it yet! I have done my part but now need to train him. I’m hoping to be able to focus some time on him with it this weekend and am really looking forward to but having to hook him to a run outside!

A couple of years ago our dog of 10 years was hit on the road. As you can imagine this was traumatic for my wife and two little girls. When we got a new puppy I was determined to figure out a way to keep it safe. I came across Halo online and figured why not try it. After the puppy was old enough to come off the leash and start the collar it immediately began to respond to the program training and fence that I programmed on the app. We had one incident early on where the puppy went through the fence, but after a minor tweak to the settings that issue was fixed. Our puppy just turned a year old and we've had no incidents that would jeopardize your safety from leaving our yard. We live near a busy road with lots of construction traffic and our house is close to the road so a typical electric fence collar with a radius would not work well. Being able to make custom fences on an app on your phone is amazing. I've used it at campgrounds all across the state of Ohio I've also used it at family members house is and it works seamlessly everywhere we go. I've even taken the collar off the dog to test her willingness to go through the line and she truly is trained she will not cross the fence even without the color on. I like the feature on the color that I can manually initiate feedback if I want the dog to come to the house sometimes she can be a little stubborn and wants to stay outside. I did have an issue with my first caller not charging after about a year of use and the customer service team took excellent care of me sent me a new collar and charger. The week we spent without a working collar was very stressful you will find that you depend on this color more than you could possibly know until it's taken away. In my opinion the Halo collar has been money well spent.

We love our Halo collar. We have 2 dogs and switch the collar between them every other day. They both listen to their warning calls and very rarely try to go past those points. Couldn’t be happier with this. I love that we can choose where they can go on our land and not have to worry about them running away.

The best thing ever for a dog that is on an open range. I take my dog almost every where. Set up a fence in the run and he is good. Highly recommended for dog loves. These collars are not with our problems. They are a solid A.
