Halo Collar 9 out of 10

90% of the time, it works exactly as is should. The fences are very easy to draw/edit. The manual signals to the collars from the app are very helpful. Very pleased with the collar overall. We were able to train our two dogs quickly to be able to explore our 100x400' back yard without installing any physical fence or burying wire! The one major downfall we experience is that the collars lose signal sometimes, and the collars think that the dogs have left the fence zone when they have not. They beep and static correct our dogs when they are still inside of our yard, or even inside of the house! This is obviously very confusing to the dogs, and we have resorted to turning the static function completely off for this reason. I have recalibrated the collars many times which seems to work for a while, but I have not been able to permanently fix this issue yet. I am not sure if it is my physical location, but this does need to be updated hopefully in the next software update.

Great product - make the band more sturdy

Great concept and operation, however I’d like to see a more sturdy collar band - ours has already broken and I had to rivet it back together.

90% of what we were looking for

The product is very ingenious in its design, concept and applicability. My only complaint is the function, which I know you are probably working very hard on. The beacons are 50% consistent indoors at best, and the boundary isn’t as consistent as I would like. Possibly time and further development will improve the function/accuracy of feedback to boundary proximity. Aside from accuracy/inconsistent feedback, it’s a great product and am glad to have invested in it.

GPS Signal

Love these collars but they make me nervous when they lose their GPS signal and it registers as outside the boundary when it’s not. The dogs receive a correction incorrectly when this happens.
