Getaway

It was a wonderful experience! The cabin has everything I needed, along with treats for my dog Maple. It was quiet, peaceful and the perfect escape.

We absolutely LOVED our stay in our little Getaway cabin! There was everything we needed right there and it was cozy. In the evenings we made campfires and ate our diner outside. The hiking at nearby Moose Lake State Park and Banning State Park were lovely (It had been far too long since we’d done anything like that). Duluth isn’t all that far so we took a trip and enjoyed dinner at a Thai restaurant. It was refreshing and reviving to be in quiet nature and to get away from the constant screens and city noise. And stars…. How incredible to wake up, look out your huge window and see a sky full of beautiful, sparkling stars. We’ll definintly be back :-) If you’re thinking about Getaway, do it!

Cozy, clean and private. If you are looking for quiet, this is the place to be. Well equipped and close to great hiking. Pet friendly and we loved the welcome treats for him
