If you want a high-level
If you want a high-level AP (especially if you just came from Hellbreakers, natch), I can't reccomend this enough. Paizo's gotten really good at writing for high-level characters without arbitrarily nerfing their abilities or juicing levels or DCs beyond plausibility. The skirmish battle system plays a big role in that here, putting them in battles at a larger scale, while still, y'know, playing their actual character. The plot is suitably epic as well, starting out with "just" wanting to liberate a crucial city, and escalating until the PCs actions are key to the entire Cheliax-Andoran war. Speaking of, the Path touches on many themes particularly. . . relevant. . . to current events*. They're handled exceedingly well, with respect and intelligence, and they're a big plus for me, but if you're looking for more escapism right now. . . you might look elsewhere (I'd recommend Curtain Call!) I've enjoyed this Path at least as much as I did Revenge of the Runelords, and I ADORED that one, so if punching fascist devil-worshippers in the face sounds like fun to you, don't hesitate.
