TOTALLY AWESOME

I work for a vector control organization and stocked up on a bunch of giant mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, and lice to give out on staff birthdays and as farewell gifts to seasonal employees on their last day so they have a fun memento to remember us by. They are always a hit! I have 6 of them lined up on my office windowsill. Fingers crossed they add more ticks and tick-borne pathogens to the lineup (I would love to see a lone star tick and alpha-gal syndrome). Everyone was especially impressed with the deluxe mosquito with hidden microbes-- here's hoping they make a deluxe tick in the future!

I bought Bad Breath and Staph (sweat smell) to use in hygiene lessons with students. They're very cute, arrived in a timely manner, and are exactly as pictured on the website. I've purchased other microbes (STIs) in the past, and they make great ice breaker teaching tools for subjects that some students might find uncomfortable to talk about.
