So far so good but there's not nearly enough tension. It's great if you're going from a sedentary lifestyle to rowing so it's absolutely worth recommending. The hardest part of maintaining a workout routine is getting started. This will definitely get you started -- especially if you haven't exercised in quite some time and you're over 50. If it's not apparent. . . this is a positive thumbs up review. :-) Absolutely love the full motion!!!!

Beginner level machine

I should’ve read the product manual before buying, but what cost a star is only being able to use the rower for 20 minutes so the hydraulic piston doesn’t overheat. I’ve used it with the dial at its lowest resistance and felt it warm to the touch. Still, I like the full range of motion and price point.
