3DP 3 iron
Super quick and easy to get a customized club. Quick shipping, along with a user friendly interface.
As far as the iron goes, here are the specs I got.
3 iron
KBS $ taper black X-stiff 1" short-(about a 5/6 iron length)
GP tour wrap black jumbo grip
1 degree strong to a 18 degree
Standard lie angle.
Now the iron review itself.
Is $350 per iron expensive, yes, but this thing is an absolute monster and it is going to stay in the bag forever. I use it off the tee to find fairways, hit it out the 1st cut on par 5's, and can hit absolute stingers to cut the wind on those super windy days, and you can get a little shot shaping going with it too. No driving iron is this versatile. I don't have a 3 wood or 5 wood because of this iron. Smooth easy swing gets me about 235 carry. A full swing gets me about 250 carry. The feel of this face when you hit it is like none other, great forgiveness on the mishits, (about only 5-15 yard loss when you toe it, depending on how bad you toe it could be 5 or 15. Haven't hit one off the hosel yet lol)
I am an 11 HCP, and the main reason why is my game off the tee box. This club has helped me eliminate those errant driver and mini driver shots, which has already dropped by HCP by 1 and I have only have it for 8 rounds so far. It is going to get me to my goal of single digit HCP by next July because I can get that accuracy off the tee without sacrificing too much distance. My mini goes 285-290 and my driver goes 300-315, which doesn't matter when 1/2 of them go OB lol.
Last thing, I bought a new iron set 4-P about 4 months ago. If I was still in the market for a new irons, I would 100% buy the full set because they feel that good and look that good. Especially at address. I currently play MB/CB combo set, and the feel of this 3DP 3 iron rivals the feel of my fully forged S20C set.
TLDR; Buy the damn thing. You won't regret it.
