When the original deflect jacket was released in black, I was hesitant in buying it. In grim weather, I prefer to wear Pedla's bright colours (especially the winter range), so I can be seen on the road. When the Deflect 2. 0 came out in a bright colour, it was a no brainer. On the first ride in the rain with the jacket, I astounded in how dry I was. With other jackets previously, you would finish a ride and you would have some areas that would water trickled in. With the deflect jacket, my under jersey was completely dry. The other added bonuses are the numerous easy access pockets and the two way zipper. This jacket makes it easier to ride in the wet conditions
