Warmest jacket I have ever owned

I live in NYC and purchased this jacket in the winter of 2025/2026 because of the brutal wind, snow, cold weather we were having, and it did not disappoint. This jacket is by far the warmest jacket I have ever owned and is worth every penny. As a dog owner with a large breed that needs a lot of exercise, I spend a lot of time outdoors, and this jacket keeps me nice and toasty. I highly recommend!

Best cold weather Jacket

I live within 100 miles of the Arctic I wear the storm shadow every day at -27F I wear the jacket and t shirt no layering . Bottom line this jacket is worth the money . Ps I am not one to leave reviews

Patagonia stormclad guarantee

Ok one thing I did not mention in my previous review was how I came to own this jacket. My wife asked me what could she get me for my birthday and I said my favorite Patagonia winter guide parka repaired which I bought in 1998. Th zippers were shot and press studs coming away (after heavy use for 28 years). Patagonia were unable to repair as apparently the insulation enclosures inside the jacket were starting to delaminate. They said as we can’t repair it you can pick out any jacket in th store! Incredible. So if any of you are wondering how good that ironclad guarantee question no further. Amazing. What a company.

Great

Very warm. Very comfortable. Not the least bit heavy or noisy. Good size and location for hand pockets. All around great jacket. Only thought for Patagonia is to consider hand pocket insulation in the outer wall of the pocket to keep your hands warmer.

Fantastic parka!

This is Patagonia’s best parka. It performs and fits as advertised. It is warm in the Canadian winter, and wind- and waterproof which is great for stormy conditions. Maybe the next version could be slightly longer and have extended hood flaps? I’ll rate it 9. 5/10!
