Patagonia Men's R1® Air Full-Zip Fleece Hoody

The fit is typical of most Patagonia jackets, a little slim, but perfect for layering. I purchased this jacket to use underneath my down sweater Hoody jacket keeps me perfectly warm on those brisk cold nights.

Received this as a gift and it has become my new go to jacket for cool to cold weather. It is the perfect mid layer.

I just bought a new one as my current one was working overtime lately. Same great product and great fit but I am shocked that on the newer one the chest pocket doesn’t fit a cell phone, a major design flaw in my mind. So I continue to wear my older one more often!

The R1 Air fabric is truly remarkable. It feels like cotton but behaves as the technical hollow fiber polyester material it is forged from. Pure luxury. The fit is perfect for me. Form fitting yet flexible to afford total freedom of movement. I have been surprised by the range of temperatures this garment can adapt to. I have worn this trail running over a light sun hoodie from 45 degrees down to 10 degrees Fahrenheit. Will go lower if worn as a mid layer under a shell. It breathes well, but is plenty warm in a decent breeze. Excels at wicking moisture, is warm when wet, but does take some time to dry.
