M's Torrentshell 3L Jacket

Too bad this jacket is only for men. Bought an xl so I can layer Arms a bit long Zipper difficult to hinge.hopefully will loosen during wear Otherwise perfect. Lightweight, water and wind resistant with a hood..going to Portland in June will need this

I’m a gear wh@re, I’ve got wayyy too many jackets, but this one and my dead bird, are the most used by far. It fits big, I’m 6’1 athletic 215 and the XL is too big for summer with just a tee, it’s got a boxy fit with a lot of sleeve width. Excellent length and the adjustments snug it up nicely though, great with a heavy flannel or sweater under it. It’s BOMBPROOF in its build and durability, my job has me in some rough terrain and this jacket has stood up to rocks, brambles, bush whacking etc. Sheds snow and rain like a champ and darn close to 100% windproof.

This is a great product and will hold up in rainy weather. Recently, I used it in the mountains, where there is inclumate weather and the jacket was perfect to hours of long rain pours. Great Jacket

I had already bought the same jacket for my daughter for her hiking. I was so impressed by the quality of the craftsmanship and materials that I also bought the same jacket for my wife and I. I have not had a chance to fully test the jackets in heavy downpours but expect with the 3L there will be no issues. Although this gear is not cheap, it is reasonably when compared to Arc'Teryx products and the quality is on Par. I also will continue to buy Patagonia products as they are also committed to doing their part for activism and environmental causes.

I did research on the best rain shells of 2021, Torrent Shell was on the top of all lists. It stacks up to those ratings. Performs perfectly in light to heavy rain. Pit vents are a huge plus! I'm 6'2" 185 and the length for arms and rear are the best I've found. Compared to similar North Face, Torrent is my go to.
