M's Torrentshell 3L Jacket

A redesigned 3-ply shell impresses.

160lb [72kg], 5'11" [180cm], relatively skinny guy. The jacket runs kind of large with the chest being a bit roomy and the arms running to the first knuckles. These a non issues for me as I can comfortably wear a sweater under it and the adjustable cuffs allow for a nice fit at the wrists. The jacket stuffs pretty easily into one of the pocket, but I found it just as easy to roll it up into the hood when I'm not worried at space. Waterproofing is great, seems to be pretty windproof too as I found myself getting pretty warm hiking in this. Almost too warm if it wasn't for the armpit vent zippers. Overall it is an excellent rain jacket at a great price point for all the features it has.

I owned the previous technology of this jacket. The current jacket fits better and has better design in the zipper and wick tech. The previous jacket lasted me many years and this one will outlast the other. My wife and daughter love the color!

Extremely light, and very waterproof! I havent had it leak/soak through at all, even in some pretty heavy downpour. Great jacket, and I love how sustainable it is

If you are 57 to 59 get a small. The medium fits, but is a little big. This thing is the mac daddy of rain wear. You will be dry.
