I'm not sure about that
I'm not sure about that Ken Mercer guy, but MDSC is top of my list to buy my materials.
All jokes aside. I watch a lot of Kens videos, and talk to him about further educating me on the products I use. He has a knowledge base that is second to none when it comes to details on how a bottle of "You name it" works on the surfaces, whether paint or gelcoat. They also have a great selection of ancillary detailing products that the "marine stores" just do not carry. They have top end tools, pads, brushes etc.
Definitely worth checking out the website, but I suggest a visit to their store. The whole team is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
I personally attended their "Starke Yacht Care" course, which was very helpful. You may already know a lot about detailing, but I learned a lot and I have been in the yacht management space for almost 25 years.
