I’ve been using the Force

I’ve been using the Force USA Compact Leg Press (CLP) for about 5 weeks now, and it has been an outstanding addition to my garage gym. For me, space efficiency is one of the biggest factors when choosing equipment. Every square foot matters, so I prioritize machines that offer versatility instead of taking up space for just one isolation movement. The CLP excels in that regard because it effectively gives you three major lower-body exercises in one compact footprint: hack squats, linear hack press movements that closely mimic a traditional leg press, and standing calf raises, which I personally feel engage much better than seated variations. Despite its compact size compared to larger commercial-style units, the machine feels very smooth and solid during use. One thing to note is that, as you get stronger, this machine can become somewhat of a “plate eater. ” Because of the 30-degree angle, gravity assistance means you’ll likely need to load more weight than expected. That said, I actually think the 30-degree design is one of its biggest advantages. It’s much more forgiving on the knees and lower back compared to steeper-angle leg presses. Many people tend to ego lift and round their lower back on traditional leg press machines, but the angle on the CLP naturally helps reduce that tendency and encourages a safer movement pattern. I did have one minor issue with a roller enclosure early on, but Force USA customer service handled it immediately and sent a replacement with no hassle at all, which says a lot about the company’s support. Another thing I really like is the plate size and foot platform design. There’s enough room to vary foot placement and emphasize different muscle groups, whether you want more quad focus or greater glute engagement. Overall, this machine has been an excellent complement to my multifunctional rack setup. It adds a ton of lower-body hypertrophy volume while still allowing for compound-focused training, all without consuming a huge amount of space. I highly recommend it, especially for garage gym owners trying to maximize versatility and efficiency. Also, definitely check out Garage Gym Reviews and Coop Mitchell’s review video on the CLP. The newer V3 version also appears to address the earlier weld issue on the stopper.

Vee at Customer Service was

Vee at Customer Service was very helpful throughout the process. I even sent her measurements of my space so she could help me evaluate the fit of the C10 machine. It took several weeks to receive delivery due to high sale volume since Black Friday/Christmas. Then once received, it took me a couple of weekends to convert my garage to a Home Gym, assemble and install. I barely had the strength to move the Olympic barbell or the sliding bench around the cage - at first. Also, there was a learning curve with what to use and how to set it up for some of the exercises. I'm 64, weigh 228 lbs. , and for 6 consecutive weeks I have been increasing the weight load for all of my exercises. Eating 150-200 grams of protein daily. Keeping a workout log that records my sets, reps and weight used. Taking occasional walks (and want to do more). Haven't felt this good in years!
