I recently purchased the icon iron set. After a few rounds here are my thoughts. They have a beautiful look. They are blades for player’s that seek accuracy and shot shape ability. I’m able to hit curves to avoid obstacles. They are sweet to hit, yet mis-hits are less forgiving than a cavity back iron. I am a 13 handicap and I shot a 78 my first round with them, and birdied some holes I had not birdied in a long time. The last time I birdied one of those holes was with the icon iron through the demo program. It delivered! The irons are very accurate and have a sweet feel at impact. They are consistent with distance. You can hit a few shots from the same spot and provided you use the same swing the balls will land right next to each other. I feel that with these irons I will become a single digit handicap. I’m very pleased with the irons and love hitting them in play and at the range. Greg P.
