Couldn't Decide
While receiving physical therapy for shoulder replacement surgery, I noticed the vast difference in quality between the many resistance bands they use there. Some have thin buckles and carabiners. Some handles were sewn on in cheapy mode and the wrinkly cover part to the bands were very thin. Although not very familiar with resistance bands, I do have a manufacturing background. I could see some bands were much better quality than others and a close look revealed the 4KOR were indeed the best brand. One look on Amazon revealed a wide array of prices. While the 4KOR are a bit more costly up front, they are more than worth it in the long run. I couldn’t decide on the strength of the band, so I ended up getting 2 sets, one 3 lb for those weird angles or multiple repetition sets and one 17 lb for bicep curls and exercises for strength training. The combination is perfect. Between the two I have a winning combination for a perfect conditioning workout. One word of advice - 17lbs requires quite a bit of strength to flex, so unless you’re Charles Atlas I would think twice about going much heavier. For a well-rounded workout I would really consider the 2-band system. Don’t be misled by a cheaper price. Go 4KOR for the very best.
