Waiting for expense information.

We had bought Berkshire Hathaway Wave Insurance as a back up to the Cunard Aon Insurance, after being burnt by other Insurance Cruise. We submitted what they asked for in a timely manner, were told they had a 3 week time frame to reply. We heard back from them in about 3 days which I appreciated. They were honest through out the whole process, and kept us informed on every step. Since Aon had paid out, they did not have anything to pay out on. But I felt if they had been the major payor for the trip, they would of paid on our claim. This is very unusual for us and we appreciated the communication that kept us informed throughout the whole process which was less then a week after providing them the information they requested. I bought the insurance for the international health coverage benefit during a 2 ½ week trip to Europe But I ended up using it for trip delay and interruption. My host became ill and i had to get a last minute hotel and car. Then my friend's flight was canceled and we werent able to use our hotel that night (3 ½ hrs away) bc she was rescheduled for the next day. The insurance kicked in for these. So happy bc it was the trip from hell. At least I got some money back. Easy online and email claims process and ACH deposit for the payment.
