Being new to Yunnan Sourcing, the samplers were a natural place to start. I like Fujian and Golden Yunnans brewed in an English style. This Fujian sampler offers an excellent variety at a good price. The samples are not small: 25-50 grams per sample. I’ll get 2. 5-5 pots per sample for my wife and I, and this is enough to really understand the tea well. So, I would certainly recommend this sampler to anyone interested in Fujian teas. One particular thing I learned was how good a Jin Jun Mei can be, and how wide the variety is. I definitely want to explore Jin Jun Mei more as a result. I was uninspired by Jin Jun Mei offerings I’ve tried before from other merchants. I’m still going through the sampler, so I don’t want to report on individual teas yet, but the “chocolately” Jin Jun Mei is my current favorite and a keeper. I have already ordered more. Delicious!
