We really like the salt cellar. It's a beautiful glazed but matte finish. It's a nice weight as well so it won't tip over when reaching for salt!

I am a new mother and I recently started looking for safe, good quality, and attractive tableware that could be microwaved safely, washed in a dishwasher, wasn't too heavy, and wouldn't break when dropped. Eventually I stumbled upon Year & Day's outdoor set and decided to try it out. Best decision ever! It's beautiful, safe, and durable. These plates and bowls look good as new after multiple washes, many meals, and many times being thrown on the floor by a baby. When microwaved they don't become overly hot and I love the way they look. I'm seriously considering buying another set in the future! If you're a mother (or anyone frankly) who's looking for a safe alternative to stoneware or ceramic that can survive the chaos of family life, I highly recommend this product. 10/10 product!
