Being a pastor in the Atlantic City District of the African Methodist Episcopal church, I found this to be a great and very informative book. I've always enjoyed Arcadia's books on historical backgrounds of certain areas of the country. Stuck for holiday gifts, I ordered one for my dad on his hometown and another for my sister on the East coast area where we were raised. They are perfect and I can't wait to gift them! (I spent hours perusing them myself.)
